First time I heard the news- need to sell 30 tixs or $60 worth of tickets... i feel faint.... It didnt help that mum declared that she wanted me to do it by myself. Got real upset that she wanted to do a plan and a strategy and ended in .....let's not mention the details !
So a 3 pronged approach - approach the close family (ie Grandpa, grandma, mum,dad .. then the relatives like kum moh); then teachers (start with own teacher, rope in sis to approach her own teachers); and also neighbours/fren's parents.
And... first week, second week, by third week - all sold !!! At some pain, at some unhappiness, ...
but yeah i did it mostly on my own !
(PS : of cos it helped that some were rather generous - buying 2 or even 3 txs, though some turned down - and the first one that did that caused me some unhappiness - which is a valuable lesson in handling rejection)
